On a scale of 1–10, how frustrated are you with your Company Page growth? I’m guessing it’s a solid 10. Maybe even an 11. You’re showing up, doing your best and still not seeing the results you want. You’re not alone.
After years of working with B2B brands of all sizes, I’ve narrowed it down to four common problem areas that could be holding your LinkedIn Company Page back and what to do about each of them.
This article is inspired by the recent episode of the Social Media for B2B Growth Podcast hosted by Michelle J Raymond.
If you want to know all the details invest under 20 mins and listen or watch the episode.
1. You Don’t Have a LinkedIn Strategy
If your LinkedIn Company Page doesn’t have a documented strategy, you’re flying blind. A generic “post three times a week” plan isn’t going to cut it.
Ask yourself:
- Have you done customer research recently?
- Is your LinkedIn plan aligned with your business goals?
- Do you have clear content pillars and positioning?
If the answer is no or not really, it’s time to go back and get these foundations right. And yes, ChatGPT can be helpful here to bounce around ideas or draft your first plan.
🛠 Fix it: Build a LinkedIn Page strategy that connects your business goals with customer needs and shows up clearly in your LinkedIn content.

2. You’re Not Up to Date With the Latest Changes
LinkedIn changes fast. Features shift. Algorithms evolve. What worked last year might not work now.
If LinkedIn isn’t your full-time focus, it’s tough to keep up, and that’s OK. That’s why I create content across my podcast, YouTube channel, and newsletter to give you the latest info without the overwhelm.
🛠 Fix it: Subscribe to trusted LinkedIn resources (like this one!) so you’re not flying blind with outdated tactics.
3. Your Content Isn’t Consistent
Posting only when there’s a webinar or trade show? Been there. But consistency is the #1 way to stay top of mind with your audience.
If you’re short on time (and most of us are), try:
- Blocking content creation time in your calendar
- Repurposing longer content into short-form clips or posts
- Recycling evergreen posts from months ago
🛠 Fix it: Create a system to batch, repurpose, and schedule content. Tools like Metricool can help you stay organised.
4. Your Team Is Stretched Too Thin
You can’t grow a LinkedIn presence if your team is burnt out or juggling too many platforms. It’s time to either narrow the focus and do fewer things to a higher standard or if that’s not an option it’s time to get support.
🛠 Fix it: Consider working with an expert partner like B2B Growth Co to plug short-term staffing issues. We offer short term contracts to help you manage peak periods.

The Solution Most People Don’t Consider
Here’s what only Company Pages can do: You can outsource.
Unlike personal profiles, LinkedIn Company Pages can be managed by a third party. And that’s exactly what we do at B2B GROWTH CO – Grow Your B2B on LinkedIn. We partner with B2B businesses to:
- Align business strategy with LinkedIn strategy
- Stay current with LinkedIn best practices
- Take the pressure off internal teams
What to Review and Where to Act
✅ Strategy in place and aligned to business goals
✅ Up to date with LinkedIn best practices
✅ Consistent, high-quality content
✅ Enough internal resources (or consider outsourcing)
If your Company Page hasn’t taken off yet, start with this audit. Then take action based on where you find the gaps. Need help? You know where to find me.
Cheers
